About Netrodex

Neto, known on stage as Netrodex, is a DJ and music producer based in Brazil.

Born and raised in São Luís, a small city located in northeastern Brazil, Netrodex lived a vibrant childhood filled with music, dance and sports. He was exposed to music and the nightclub life at an early age by his father, Alvaro Luis, who was a DJ and nightclub owner. Without knowing it yet, Netrodex had developed a love for electronic music. Blending this musical love with a curiosity for technology and robotics, the name Netrodex was born.

Music classes weren’t available for Netrodex in school, so he developed his passion through private lessons and self-teaching. After a brief time singing as part of a rock cover band, Netrodex found a love for musical performace. Inspired by artists like Skrillex and Deadmau5, and rock bands such as Motley Crue and Iron Maiden, Netrodex has found his unique musical sound.

 

Netrodex started making music in 2013, releasing tracks on SoundCloud until 2019. Since then, he's been using a distribution platform called Distrokid, to have total creative independence. As a fully independent artist, Netrodex has no intention of signing with a record label. By staying DIY, he ensure that every musical vision remains 100% authentic. delivered directly to the listeners without any industry filters.

Musically, Netrodex is a bridge between eras. While his roots are firmly planted in Brostep a sub genre of Dubstep, he bypass the modern scene to draw raw inspiration

from the 2011 golden era. His sound is a high-octane fusion of Skrillex style Complextro (2009-2014) and the atmospheric depth of Deadmau5's

Progressive house.

Not content with just electronic boundaries, he lace his tracks with the grit of classic Rock and aggression of Heavy Metal. By blending melodic progressive structures with technical synth-work and live guitar energy, he creates a sound that is nostalgic  yet entirely his own.
